It Starts With the Will to Make a Difference
FUNDRAISING
We collect donations and hold auctions online. All funds go to the care of our dogs and are used to pay for food, shelter, vet fees and transport.
ADOPTION
We have a number of dogs looking for their forevers homes. Some are based in foster homes in the UK and some are in China awaiting transportation.
AWARENESS
We aim to raise awareness of the dog meat trade that unfortunately still operates in parts of Asia. By shining a light on this cruel and outdated practice, we hope that one day it will be eradicated.
ABOUT US
I have been fighting against the dog & cat meat trade for years by signing petitions, calling and emailing MPs and embassies.
In November 2018, I set up Home for China Dogs to help rescues in China connect with foster families in the UK. We helped over 100 dogs find their perfect families.

At the end of 2020 we noticed the increased need for rescues and so started to rescue are own dogs. We currently have around 60 dogs in our care that are looking for their forever homes and now fundraise to cover their costs.

Every single dog we save from abuse, cruelty or worse brings us hope and joy. We hope you can join us on our journey to better these animal's lives.

WHAT WE DO
Our aim is to save dogs in China from abuse and from falling victim to the dog meat trade.
80% of our dogs are rescued from dog meat market, while the rest come to us through various means such as the street, failed shelters, owner surrender and other rescues pleas.

All our dogs are looking for their forever homes in the UK. Each dog is vaccinated, neutered/ spayed and microchipped. They will come with their health certificates and passports.

We are a small rescue and rely heavily on the donations of our supporters. All money donated to our cause goes to the care of the dogs.
Dogs adopted from Home for China Dogs come with 5 weeks free pet insurance - whatever their age!
